They are stain resistant water resistant and can withstand heavy foot traffic. There are hairline cracks running through the tiles on all three walls both vertical and horizontal. They work well in as polished floor tiles in entryways or on shower walls where marble would stain. In far more instances the crack was caused by anomalies under or around the tile.
